Alaris Not Recognizing 3 mL BD Syringes with Attached BBraun CSTD

Hello!

We are experiencing an issue with the Alaris pump not recognizing BD 3 mL syringes when a BBraun/OnGuard CSTD is attached. The pump displays the error message: "Unknown syringe installed. Re-install syringe."

Has anyone else encountered this issue or found a solution? Our children's hospital occasionally compounds hazardous medications in 3 mL syringes for smaller doses, so this has been intermittently coming up.

Thanks so much!
Rachael
