Allergy Shots - Ordering, Preparation, Administration

Hi All, we are looking at how we manage our allergy patients across our clinics. Some are seen by internal providers and others seen by external providers. Our internal patients have their allergy shots prepared by the allergy team and external providers mail the allergy shots to us. We currently have paper orders and are interested in transitioning this into our EHR (Epic).

1. Are the allergy shots built into your EHR as an order? If so, how do you handle this for external providers?
2. Where are your allergy shots prepared? And how are they labeled (printed or handwritten)?
3. Does the label have a barcode for BCMA?
4. What policies or procedures do you have for managing patients seen in your ambulatory clinics, specifically around managing how long a patient needs to wait and any reactions.

I would appreciate any insight or examples you are willing to share.
