How is your organization responding to BD Alaris Field Action MMS-26-06104?

We are reviewing BD Field Action MMS-26-06104 regarding certain BD Alaris infusion sets. Affected sets remain available for use but have updated performance disclosures related to infusion accuracy, bolus delivery accuracy, and occlusion alarm timing, particularly at low flow rates (<1 mL/hr) and small bolus volumes (<5 mL).

I am interested in hearing how other organizations are responding:

Are you limiting use of affected sets in specific patient populations. medications, or clinical areas?

Are you limiting medications that can be Y-sited based on this information? Are you limiting what can be bolused from the bag?

Have you implemented additional safeguards for low-rate infusions or small-volume boluses?

Are you increasing the use of syringe pumps?

Appreciate any insights. Thanks!
