Labeling of Epoprostenol Syringe in B.Braun Pump/ Epic User

Hello,

I was wondering if any hospitals are currently utilizing B. Braun pumps for inhaled epoprostenol syringes. If so, would you be willing to share your current labeling process?

The pump requires the barrel of the syringe to be placed inside the pump (as pictured below). When the infusion rate is changed but a new syringe is not dispensed, there is no new barcode available to scan if the syringe label is inside the pump.

Any information you can share about your process at your site would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Dominique
