IV Compabability in Lexicomp

We previously used Micromedex for compatibility information, but have switched to Lexicomp.
We have had questions from RNs about it being more difficult to find the information in Lexicomp vs micromedex. For instance, the latest issue was about running Zosyn with D5 1/2 NS with 10mEq KCl. When they entered the fluid plus Zosyn, it came up untested; however, when they checked on each of the components of the D5 1/2NS with KCL, each one of the three was compatible. We will probably take this to our medication safety committee, with the thought of being more specific about the additional steps required. Has anyone figured out a better way to deal with this? We want to make this as efficient as we can for the RNs, while assuring that the information is being used correctly. Thanks very much!!
