EPIENPHrine infusion wieght based vs. non weight base

Hi all,

I'm currently reprogramming the IV pumps and I'm debating what is the safest approach on epinephrine infusions while in Afghanistan. Currently all my providers are used to mcg/min. Since the entire hospitals changes over every six months I can see that having mcg/kg/min might lead to more mistakes. The military health system is stil lagging behind with updating to ASHP stadard concentration list. I'm thinking about having both entries available so as we increase our standards we can eventually drop the non-weight based entry. Any thoughts would be appreciated I am sure that those that were converting over may have had similar issues.

Thanks
