Dual Check at Handoff for High Alert meds

I am looking into adding a required dual signoff at handoff for high alert meds that require dual check for initiation, titration, etc. I have heard from contract RNs that they have seen this functionality elsewhere.

Will you please reply if you do this and include what EHR you are using and share any additional information you think would help with a decision like this?

Many thanks,
