ED Boarders and MAR Holds
We're seeing lots of MAR Holds when ED boarder patients (some are being held up to 36 hours) need home/inpatient meds... and subsequent med omissions errors (and provider/nurse interruptions) when MAR Holds aren't released. Besides education, has anyone had success with addressing this issue? Any tips? Thanks
