Applied Medication Safety

Looking for safety specialists to share their experiences and stories to help others on the Applied Medication Safety podcast (unfunded, no commercial interests or affiliations). Please message me if interested in participating and contributing, or just with questions.

Any safety work product discussed must be blinded and altered to retain the essence of the safety lesson.

The podcast is fashioned into seasons with a particular safety focus (Season 1 is Opiate Safety). It follows a fictional case through different parts of the hospital via discussions with a wide variety of clinicians to provide a three-dimensional perspective of risks that emerge in complex systems. The goal is a broadly relevant clinical resource to help us care safely, when it comes to medications.

Feedback very welcome!

Podcast can be searched as "Applied Medication Safety" on most platforms, and episodes are available at amspod.com.

Kindest Regards,
