Understanding and implementing the Joint Commission's Medication Management standards continue to be a challenge for some organizations. While much emphasis is placed on these standards for safety, they are commonly scored as noncompliant during hospital surveys. During this webinar, participants will hear directly from Joint Commission leadership about medication management standards as well as medication-related National Patient Safety Goals that prove to be the most difficult for hospitals and healthcare systems. Frequent challenges with the standards will be presented along with examples of how to achieve compliance with these troublesome areas.
