what is the most common way that hospitals identify patients in their pumps?

Good morning MSOS Team,

1) We have CareFusion pump.
2) We do not have pump integration into the EMR, nor do we have asset tracking.

My question is "what is the most common way that we can identify patients in their pumps?" Please advise.

Thank You,

Maggie Ton, Pharm.D, SIDP, CMSO, APh.
