Honeywell Aclar unit dose packaging for original container drugs

Greetings,

Has anyone used unit dose packaging with Honeywell Aclar film for drugs dispensed in the original container? Specifically, my site is wondering if the film could help extend the lead time by which we package these medications. Typically we prepare them the night before they're due.

I am skeptical that containers besides the manufacturer's original one can provide a 1 year repackaging beyond use date, but I'm curious if any sites have successfully used this or any other 'special' packaging material vendors have promoted to help with moisture sensitive medications for these scenarios.

Thank you,

Lynda
