Allergies Enter as Other

Hello all,
We are currently reviewing Allergies Listed as "Other" in the patient's chart. Some of these are inappropriately entered when there is a designated allergy, but it is placed under "Other" which ultimately does not alert of any interactions/other clinical decision support. An optimization we are looking into is setting an alert to fire when using the "Other" option. Would love to get other institutions' insight on the allergy documentation process.

Thank you!
