Our health system is in the process of reviewing our alcohol withdrawal order set which we have not looked at in a while. We exclusively employee PO/IV lorazepam treatment per CIWA score but have not routinely included pulse ox or telemetry monitoring for these patients that aren't in ICU.
Curious if anyone would be willing to share their order set, or any guidance specifically with lorazepam doses/routes, lessons learned, and/or monitoring recommendations while on this order set.
