DosEdge Downtime Processes

Hello,
We're currently in the middle of planning to go live with DosEdge in September ( 2017).
As we understand it they have several planned downtimes.

I wanted to know if anyone has downtime procedures you're willing to share that you've found to work well. We're writing draft policies now and don't want to learn from others without reinventing the wheel. We know we can't think of everything as we in the middle of planning, training, and getting things set up.
