Drug Interaction alert customization

We performed an upgrade to our EHR last week, and it removed our ability to customize individual alerts. It is apparently the result of FDB moving to a cloud based format. Our EHR vendor says we are the only customer that has customized alerts. I just have a hard time believing that.

The alert that concerns us most is DOAC/heparin or DOAC/LMWH. FDB lists it as severe, but they also list alerts like diphenhydramine/KCl as severe. For this reason, we have severe alerts set to soft stop. Prior to this upgrade, we were able to increase the level of the DOAC alerts to Contraindicated, to allow that alert to hard stop. How are your facilities handling this particular alert (DOAC/heparin or LMWH)?
