Event type classification

For those who receive error reports from both inpatient and outpatient/retail settings, and/or working with State BOPs or PSOs on error report databases, what classification do you use for event TYPE?

The commonly used classifications seem to be tailored to certain practice settings but we are looking for a single solution that would capture event types from all settings, wondering what others are doing and share pros/cons to your method.

To classify event TYPE, do you use:
- AHRQ common formats - community pharmacy
- AHRQ common formats - hospitals
- NCCMERP
- Some custom combination of the above
- None of the above (please elaborate on what you use)

Thanks in advance!
