Hi all,
I know this question has been asked in various forms many times, but I couldn't find exactly the answer I was looking for.
For the NIOSH Table 2 drugs that just have possible carcinogenicity (IARC 2B, NTP***, or lab animal carcinogenicity) like spironolactone, divalproex, risperidone, etc, is that handled as regular medication or hazardous? In my AoR I have those meds as hazardous if being handled by someone at risk of reproductive hazard, but handled as regular medications if personnel is not at risk of hazard. Just wondering if this is going to be a problem for when our TJC survey rolls around. Thank you ahead of time for your responses!
