Levetiracetam IV push

Hello all,

We are trying to shift our intravenous levetiracetam from IV piggyback to IV push based on the study by Wheless et. al. My question is, have any institutions had issues or barriers to being able to safely administer levetiracetam via IV push?
• Are institutions allowing nurses to perform the 1:1 dilution at the bedside?
• Are nurses forced to administer the dose via a syringe pump or allowing them to use their nursing judgement?
• Have any institutions utilized IV push for doses > 3 grams?
• Is anybody experiencing adverse effects from giving levetiracetam IV push?

Thank you in advance for your responses!
