Removal of steroid inhalers from inpatient formulary

Hello,
Does anyone have any experience removing steroid inhalers from their inpatient formulary? This would be in an effort to decrease inhaler waste and prevent duplicate therapy, as most exacerbation patients are placed on PO/IV steroids.
