Sub-anesthetic Ketamine

Our organization has been using sub-anesthetic ketamine at all levels of care for many years. We currently restrict to ordering provider from Anesthesia, Pain Providers, and Pediatric Critical Care Medicine. Recently we had a request to expand our current restriction to allow our Trauma Surgery providers to order subanesthetic ketamine without an anesthesiologist or pain medicine provider on board.

How do your organizations manage sub-anesthetic ketamine?
