Wastage of PPE used for NIOSH Group 2&3 HD Administration

Hello - our USP 800 implementation team would appreciate your response to the following question: What is your process for wasting PPE used during the administration of NIOSH Group 2&3 hazardous drugs?

A) Disposed of in the YELLOW bin, bin located inside patients' room
B) Disposed of in the BLACK (RCRA) bin, bin located inside patients' room
C) Disposed of in the YELLOW bin, bin located in a centralized location (e.g. medication room)
D) Disposed of in the BLACK (RCRA) bin, bin located in a centralized location (e.g. medication room)
F) Assessment of risk performed - Used PPE is NOT considered hazardous waste (unless visibly contaminated), wasted in the regular trash

We are considering the assessment of risk approach, but wondering what others are doing. Any additional comments you may have are appreciated.

Thank you,
Daniel
