797 vs. manu. BUD

Likely not a new topic, so hoping for a good response. . .
What expiration/beyond-use-date is appropriate for plain IV fluids from the manufacturer that are "spiked" on the units/OR (no additional medication is added)? We go round and round with whether 1 hour (immediate use/single use container 797) applies. Your thoughts are appreciated.
