Alaris - EPIC intraoperability

Dear all,

My hospital is exploring the adaptation of Alaris-EPIC interoperability. I was told they previously explored this project three years ago and were told that Alaris interoperability does not support PCA and high risk infusions like heparin.

Is this true? it seems odd and counterintuitive if true.

Thank you all in advance for your help.

Sincerely,
Mohamed
