Ciprodex for tracheostomy tubes

Does your institution allow Ciprodex to be allowed in trachostomy tubes? I've seen literature to support its use in preventing granulation tissue formation.

However, there has been some concerns brought up about the boric acid content of Ciprodex.

Has anyone had any discussions surrounding this?
