Is anyone experiencing a specific lot# of Flulaval that is not barcode scanning properly?
My system has found that when scanning two specific lot# of Flulaval, it pulls the lot# and expiration date into the Lot# field in EPIC (not recognizing the code break in between). That should be a scanner configuration issue, however the same scanner devices are working appropriately for all other vaccine products, and even other lot numbers of the Flulaval product (so can't explain this as a configuration issue). Our EPIC team confirmed build looks good. A ticket with the manufacturer did not identify any issues on their end.
So, I'm trying to learn if anyone else has experienced this or may have an idea of what could cause this scanner issue for an isolated lot#.
