General Rules for the MSOS Discussion Board

Welcome to the MSOS Discussion Board!

General Rules:

The goal with this discussion forum is to build a community for sharing information, ideas, and good practices among medication safety officers and individuals interested in medication and patient safety.   Following are some general rules for this forum:

Registration: To post a message or reply to a message, you need to be a registered user of medsafetyofficer.org.  Registration is free and easy. (To register, go to the link "Log In/Register" at bottom of this webpage).

Civility:  Please don’t post offensive comments, including disparaging or negative remarks about other health care professions, or individuals. This forum was established to be a positive and respectful communication tool.  We reserve the right to remove any offensive, unprofessional, or inappropriate posts.

Classifieds:  This forum is intended for posting and sharing information, not for selling or marketing products and services, including educational (CE) programs and job/residency positions.  Any marketing or job listing-related posts will be removed.

Discoverability:  Although ISMP is a federally-certified Patient Safety Organization (PSO) and the Medication Safety Officer Society (MSOS) is part of ISMP, information posted on the forum is NOT protected from discovery. If you attach any documents (policies, forms, etc.) from your workplace, you may want to extract your origination’s name and seek your employer’s permission.
