Insulin infusion protocols - transition from endotool software to epic insulin calculator

Hi Everyone
We currently use endotool software to manage our patients requiring insulin infusions. We would like to change to use the insulin infusion calculator in epic for several reasons - cost of the software, transparency in dosing, only having to use 1 platform for medication management. Has anyone successfully transitioned from endotool to the calculator in epic? If so, would you be willing to share your strategies? I would also be interested in how others have built/used the epic insulin calculator and any words of wisdom.
