Medication Administration Policy

Hello All,
Does any one have a medication administration policy detailing their process for pre-operative medications? In my institution, the pre-op nurses pull medications from the ADC for the providers in the OR to administer but they are under the mindset that the same person that removes the medication should be administering it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
