Medication Safety Research - COVID 19 Concerns

I am working with a colleague that is interested in medication error trends during the COVID 19 pandemic. Below is a summary of the research and a link to a survey. It takes about 15 minutes to complete and contains 6 questions. Completely voluntary participation.

Summary: This research project aims to identify and analyze medication error trends from new COVID-19 related medications, vaccines, and treatment algorithms. Medication safety was a challenge in the healthcare system prior to the pandemic, so how are brand-new treatments being pushed out affecting the rates of medication errors? Participating in this research will give us better insight into the top medication safety concerns during the COVID-19 pandemic, which can aid in the prevention and elimination of these errors.

This research is being conducted by Madi Beriault and Dr. John Hertig of Butler University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, who can be reached at mberiault@butler.edu and jhertig@butler.edu, respectively. For questions about your rights as a research participant or to discuss problems, complaints, or concerns about a research study, or to obtain information, or offer input, contact the Butler Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) at (317) 940-9766 or by emailing IRB@butler.edu. The results of this questionnaire are anonymous and responding is completely voluntary.
