Multi-dose Medication Packaging & Security Seals/Tape

Hi all-
For inpatient pharmacies: how are you handling multi-dose meds that are not coming sealed from the manufacturer? Do you add tamper resistant tape/label? We have multiple inhalers and eye drops that are not sealed; if they come back to pharmacy, we need to ensure have not been used to add back to inventory. There is concern about workload of adding tape to both ends of boxes etc. Any other ideas? Thanks- Mary
