Transfer of Medications from ED to Inpatient

Hi all--Does anyone have a good workflow to ensure meds dispensed for a patient in ED follow patient to an inpatient floor? We get many requests for additional medications; per the inpatient units, the meds don't come with patient from ED. Thanks ahead of time...
